ZTE unveils Grand X V970M, to land in Q4 this year

Folks, we got another decent dual-SIM contender in our hands in the form of the ZTE Grand X V970M which aims to include on the budget-conscious buyer’s Christmas wish-list.

The handsets hardware configuration bares a lot of similarities with the other dual-SIM smartphone that we featured in the past. However, the ZTE Grand X V970M’s edge over its competition is that it sports a larger and slightly denser screen. The rest are pretty much identical.

Just bought a ZTE V889. The phone kept on hanging and I have to close and open the screen to continue. This brand ZTE is a waste of money.

@j: Almost all gadgets are made in china. Nokia also has a unit made in china. So whats the big deal! As long as it is a known brand, it is ok.

I won’t definitely buy this ZTE and other MADE IN CHINA products! – Huawei, Lenovo.

Isn’t the MT6575 a single core chip? Dual would be the MT6577. If it were dual core, the 1600mAh batt might well run out of juice with any significant CPU load like gaming or video recording.

The resolution is better but I expect this to actually perform worse than the P700’s. This means that the same SGX531 that powers both phones would have to work harder on this phone (more pixels to render, you see).

Nope, i wont buy this. Only thing that is good about the phone is the dual core proc and the vid card other than that Lenovo P700 beats the hell out of this phone. Lenovo P700 still seats on top of the android dual sim world because of the simple UI and its tank like battery life. :D

    if this is dual-sim 3G (sim1 & sim2 3G) i’ll definitely buy this!!!

Over priced. Go for the Lenovo P700 instead.
