Windows 8 tablets are becoming more and more affordable with Archos and HP announcing sub-$200 models. Acer has also announced its own $150 version with the Iconia Tab 8 W.
That’s about Php6,500 Windows 8.1 tablet which comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office 365 Personal.
The Iconia Tab 8 W is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G 1.33GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
This 8-inch tablet has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and runs up to 8 hours on a single full charge.
It’s not much but what can you expect with a price tag of just $150?
where is this available in the philippines?
Your right xenon, he doesn’t know basic tech skills in Windows!
I also like the windows experience. thanks to their huge price drop I was able to afford for me a lumia 1520 and for my wife lumia 1320. its been smooth sailing ever since. the update from 8 to 8.1 I did in under 25 mins.
the 1320 has only a DUAL core, 1gig of ram, 8gig internal and up to 64 gig external. with windows 8.1 all the apps and files can be saved to the external storage except around 8 apps that needs to be in the phone like music, video, fb messenger. its fast considering its ram is 30% used for the 8 apps and im satisfied with it. Microsoft hit the spot on the 8.1 update. I just wish we had cortana in asia.some friends did install a cortana by changing their location setting to US which is I think is not worth it.
the above acer has quadcore which is more faster.
with windows you really need to know your basic tech skills.
Correct me if i’m wrong, but doesn’t this tablet run on FULL Windows 8.1? That is completely different from the windows phone os which runs on your 1520 and 1320…
I will probably end up buying this, I like the Windows experience.
1GB more ram would be good though. Windows 8/8.1 will eat your 1GB of ram leaving nothing for other apps. :(
