BGC buses start accepting beep cards

AF Payments Inc. have just announced that BGC Buses are now also using the beep™ card system, the same payment scheme that is already used in Metro Manila train systems. Commuters who have a beep™ card may already use them to pay for their rides, fare remains at Php12 per ride. The BGC Bus line connects BGC to EDSA and Ayala Center.

“We are pleased to partner with BGC Bus as this will move us closer to our goal of making the beep™ card an all-in-one card for commuters in Metro Manila. BGC Buses serve thousands of commuters daily and our goal is to be able to provide them with a reliable and efficient payment system, especially those who hop from the MRT or the LRT to the bus.” – Peter Maher, CEO and President of AF Payments Inc.

The beep card can be purchased and reloaded at the BGC Bus Ayala, Market Market terminals, selected Bayad Center, Tambunting, Villarica as well as SM Bills Payment Counter. It can be reloaded by as much as P10,000 and is valid for four years. Note that the passengers can also use their beep cards to pay other transit transportation fare like the LRT and MRT.
