Gionee has made official their latest hexa-core Android smartphone, the Gionee GPad G5. This successor to the GPad G4 was launched in India just yesterday for Rs. 14,999.
The GPad G5 sports a yet-unknown hexa-core Cortex A7 processor but we’re betting it could be one of those coming from Mediatek.
Gionee GPad G5 specs:
5.5-inch IPS LCD display @ 720×1280 pixel
Asahi Dragontrail Glass
Cortex A7 1.5GHz hexa-core processor
ARM Mali-450 MP GPU
8GB internal storage
up to 32GB via mciroSD card
3G dual-SIM
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
FM Radio tuner
GPS with aGPS support
8MP rear camera with LED flash
2MP front-facing camera
Li-Ion 2400mAh battery
If Gionee Philippines will eventually release the handset here in the country, we’re hoping that it will be priced between Php10k to Php11k based on the Indian pricing.
Sa dami ng core nyan, ang labas yung iba wala ding pakinabang. hehehe
yung octa di mo din gaanong maramdaman ang pagiging octa, mas ok pa din ang mga proc ng SnapDragon
Hexacore? Why? Marketing strategy failed.
Ano ba yan, pati bezel may bezel.
Walang ram nakalagay. Anyway, check out Kata M2 (5.5″ at P7k).
I like the design, Im into thin phones with sharp edges. Gionee will face tough competition with the pricing of this phone though.
