Microsoft will not remove Paint

Yesterday, we wrote an article regarding Microsoft to remove Paint on its next Windows 10 update, and it garnered a lot of mixed reactions from readers who expressed their sadness, nostalgia, and disapproval over the said news. But before you post another status/tweet over it, Microsoft has confirmed that they are not going to remove Paint. Ever.

According to Megan Saunders, the general manager of 3D at Microsoft, MS Paint will be available at Windows Store, allowing fans to install the classic app whenever they want. Microsoft also mentioned that they are going to create some of the features of the classic Paint app into the new Paint 3D app in the meantime, too.

There is no precise date yet on when Microsoft plans to release the classic Paint on Windows Store but atleast, you can now heave a sigh of relief as Paint is here to stay.
