Microsoft Windows 10 prices and release date revealed

Though unofficial, the upcoming release date of Windows 10 and retail prices have been revealed prematurely by NewEgg.

While Microsoft will be giving away free upgrades for eligible users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, the new operating system will be available for new users as well, starting at $109 for the Home version and $149 for the Professional version.

The listing on NewEgg indicates a release date of August 31, 2015.
