Nokia Lumia 920 officially arrives in the PH for Php27k

Nokia’s flagship phone has officially arrived in Philippine shores – the Nokia Lumia 920 and is now being sold at a surprising retail price of just under Php27k.

The phone has been announced and released last holiday season and has only been available for purchase in the Philippines through other shops and sources since then, but not through Nokia’s official store. We’ve seen it arrive lately through Nokia, but it wasn’t on sale still.

It’s practically too much for a phone that does less. You what’s great about android? Android can do things that other platforms cannot, basically the things that consumers/user needs and want – Android directly responds to it. People never wanted to feel limited, and that’s the way WP does. I know Lumia phones with WP OS looks good, simple, fast, classy, and sleek but that’s only a pinch of the preferences people have in choosing their right phone. I myself envy the metro style UI of WP that’s why i tried hard to turn my android phone look like WP based UI. Yes, android can do things like that, and that’s one why I chose android. :)

I have really learned result-oriented things through
your site. One other thing I’d really like to say is always that newer computer system os’s
have a tendency to allow additional memory to get used, but they likewise demand more memory simply to run.
If an individual’s computer can not handle memory as well as the newest software package requires that memory space increase, it might be the time to buy a new Personal computer. Thanks

I am starting to love this 920 na nung binilhan ako ng papa ko sa labas. una medyo nanghinayang ako bat ito ung nabili niya.. pero sooner, mas ok pala to compare to my prev phone na android. saka pag sumsakay ako in public like sa bus/mrt, talagang napapatingin ung ibang tao kc napaka bright nga ng screen niya at cguro gawa rin na bago sa paningin nila itong WP8 na interface. medyo boring nga lang kc konting apps niya. for me, ang adroid pang entertaining talaga. pero when it comes to user-friendly na OS, straight and fluid, at walang kaarte-arte, WP8 is a winner (perhaps next to iOS)

The 27k price is just right for this phone. Kung wala kayong pambili wag kayong magrereklamong mahal. Nokia has a wide range of lumia phones. If you cant afford the 920 then go 820 instead.

I’ve been using Lumia 920 since January, and I must say it is one fluid OS. Simple just like IOS, but for me it lacks the productivity and flexibility of android. Feature wise I still prefer android (S3 user here). If you are not a power user and not into games and apps but love to take pictures, this is a must have.Good camera, but not great. For me the OS is still “hilaw”. It lacks a file manager and you can’t even turn off the haptic feedback on the capacitive keys which is kind of annoying. Hope this helps to those who would like to buy this phone.

No Windows Phone 8 for me. I used to own HTC Titan before. The interface is so boring, and unintuitive. Tapos buggy pa, especially yung Facebook Apps. Even the quality of apps sa store is worse compare to Android or Apple.

But what draws me away from Microsoft is the lack of commitment nila for update.

This happens on every smartphone and on every OS… Not all android phone have jellybean and not all iphones have siri(example).

IKR. Atleast sa Android most phone are updated to the next version. For example, ang Galaxy S2, updated from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich and now to Jellybean. Eh ang mga Windows Phone, pede ba i-update ang mga nasa version 7.5 to version 8. Hindi dba?

FYI not all android phone OS like GB pwedeng ma upgrade as ICS or to JB. Ung sinasabi mong SG2, syempre flagship phone yan ng Samsung kaya dapat lng sila mag update. at kumbaga regalo nlng yan. nakasalalay yan sa mga phone manufacturer. at hindi mo ba notice na kung mag upgrade ka halos marealize mo naging buggy/lags bigla ung phone? kasi nga kung mag update ng Oos gaya ng GB to JB, it requires higher specs as well like higher processor and RAM.

Point is may update pa rin. Even Samsung non flagship phone like Galaxy Ace gets updated. Eh sa mga Windows Phone, may assurance ba sila na updated sila. Like Windows 7.5 phones, naupdate ba sila sa Windows 8. Malamang yung current generation ng windows phone, di pede i-update.

Galaxy Ace doesn’t have an os update. Maybe you’re talking about Ace 2?
