OPPO N1 to be priced at Php26,990

OPPO will formally make its presence in the Philippines in April 10 and, along with it, 5 new Android-based smartphones including the Find 7 and the N1 with rotating camera.

The entire handset fleet will be officially launched on April 10 and we’ve got an early unit of the OPPO N1.

The OPPO N1 is very famous for its 206-degrees rotating rear camera. While all other smartphone brands are making the front-facing camera more powerful, OPPO decided to just rotate the 13-megapixel rear camera to the front along with its dual-LED flash.

OPPO N1 specs:
5.9-inch full HD IPS LCD @ 1920×1080 pixels, 377ppi
Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core
Krait 300
Adreno 320 Graphics
2GB RAM
16GB, 32GB internal storage
3G/HSDPA
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
WiFi Direct, DLNA
Bluetooth 4.0
NFC
13MP AF rear camera, dual-LED flash
(same 13MP rotating front-facing camera, dual-LED flash)
Color OS
Li-Ion 3610mAh battery
170.7 x 82.6 x 9mm (dimensions)
213 grams (weight)

And the suggested retail price is pegged at Php26,990 but it could change a bit before they officially announce in in April 10. We know it’s a bit steep, and that innovative rotating camera lone will not cut it, so we hope they’d reconsider.

SnapDragon 600 chipset, no LTE, and 26k? They are insane! You can easily pick up a Nexus 5 now days much cheaper. Or an LG G2 and still come out better than this

“13MP AF rear vcamera, dual-LED flash
    13MP rotating front-facing camera, dual-LED flash”

WTF! How can you say it’s “front-facing” and at the same time in it is “rotating” camera?

If it can be rotated, then it is not exactly front-facing.

    Inappropriate presentation of fact.

    • Avatar for HeyJoe HeyJoe says:

And oh, I happened to notice he said “13-megapixel rear camera which can be rotated” twice.

If that’s the case, then where the hell did
“13MP rotating front-facing camera, dual-LED flash” came from?

This might be hard to sell in emerging markets. The price and specs are at par with the known brands that have already established their presence.

wow bigat nito ah. sigurado ngalay kamay mo dito. di pa yata nila nakikilala si nexus 5. nagmahal lang dahil sa rotating camera na prone to breaking/loosening.

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

Target din kasi ng Oppo ang Western market kaya nilakihan nila ang screen. Kung mapapanood mo ang video ng youtube reviewer na si Marques Brownlee, parang 4″ phone lang ang nexus 5 sa laki ng kamay nya.

What the hell is a Color OS? Custom android rom that only five people in the world have heard about? 27K tapos walang LTE? Alcatel is that you?

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

Hanep naman makapag-english, as if popular na ang android OS 10 years ago. How about stop spreading stupidity and criticize the technology after using it? Create your own OS if you don’t like it without intelligent basis.

    • Avatar for Zobel Zobel says:

Android didn’t exist 10 years ago. At anong kinalaman kung popular sya that time? Typical Pinoy response “create your own if you don’t like it, don’t buy it if it’s expensive blah blah blah…”

Morons like you are the reason why I love insulting hihihi!

    • Avatar for Engotmo Engotmo says:

So want exact figures? How sure are you that there are only 5 people who heard about their android version? Back at you idiot!

    • Avatar for Abubot Abubot says:

      Haha.. Nacheckmate si zobel! #owned

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

@zobel Wrong: android has been around the market since 2003 at hindi sila sikat noon, nagkaroon lang sila ng major financing gear noong nabili ng google. Typical filipino comment din ang nagrereklamo na wala namang batayan di ba? nasabi kong create your own OS dahil wala ka namang nilalatag na facts kung bakit ayaw mo sa OS na di mo pa nasusubukan. Complaining too much without anything to back it up is stupidity.

    • Avatar for Zobel Zobel says:

Two words: Windows Phone. Di ko pa na-try at wala akong planong i-try.

Di nga sumikat Bada OS ng 3rd largest industrial company in the world yan pa kayang sa never heard brand na pwede mong mapagkamalang lighter? lolz

P26,000? Parang mas gusto ko pa yung Samsung S4 LTE, almost same specs din pero with LTE. What I’m really worried about this phone is the aftersales.

Almost 27k for a SnapDragon 600 chipset? TENG ENE NEMEN! Ano babayaran mo dito? Yung nag-eexorcist na camera? Hahaha.

27k is almost Note3 price sa Gray Market. Tsk tsk.. Not street-wise!

  13. Avatar for Easy E Easy E says:

For reference, kapresyo nito halos ang LG G2 (mas mura ang LG G2, sa mall). Magkano kaya yung ibang Oppo models
