Sony outs PlayLink for enjoying PlayStation games on a phone

Sony has just introduced a new way of playing with your friends using a PlayStation and an iOS or Android device. The PlayLink ditches the usual controller or gamepad and solely utilizes the wireless connection and sensors of your smart device.

The company markets the PlayLink as a new way to play together. Exclusively on PS4, all you need to play is the console, a mobile device, and a television. Full details are yet to be disclosed but it looks like there will be games dedicated to this new offering.

Hidden Agenda on E3 2017

As of now, there are a handful of titles for the initial batch including a quiz game called That’s You, Hidden Agenda, Frantics, Knowledge is Power, and Singstar Celebration. From these, it’s been reported that That’s You will be the first title to be available for PlayLink and will be released on July 4.
