Sony outs PlayStation Mobile

Today, Sony unveils the much awaited PlayStation Mobile to bring “PlayStation-like experience” straight to your a PlayStation certified devices and PS Vita.

All a gamer needs to have is an internet connection, SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) Account and PSN Wallet and they should be able to download content in no time. Some of the titles that are already available for download are Samurai Beatdown, Loot the Land, Beats Slider and Magic Arrows.

However, given the fact that the portal is fairly new, the contents that are available is still fairly limited. But the Japanese tech giant won’t leave it at that, as they promise to continuously expand their offerings as time goes by. In order to do so, they’re planning to release a Mobile SDK to encourage developers to port their creation to the PS Mobile ecosystem.

The PlayStation Mobile are mostly limited to Sony devices with PlayStation Certification but the company is already working on bringing it to other PlayStation Certified devices such HTC’s One Series (X+, X, S, V). However, no details when will the portal be available to those non-Sony devices.
