Asus Zenbook UX31 vs. Acer Aspire S3

The Asus UX31 is the bigger half of the Zenbook line-up. With a 13.3″ form factor, it sits right up against the Macbook Air 13″ and the Acer Aspire S3. We already did the comparison between the Zenbook and the MBA at the 11.6″ category so we’ll do another one for the 13-inchers, this time with the UX31 and the Aspire S3.

Samsung Galaxy Note hitting the Philippines on Nov. 15

Can’t also believe when I heard this myself but the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Note is scheduled on November 15 (that’s 2 weeks away!). There was no talk of the retail price but we’re expecting no lower than Php30k.

Satellite Internet on the Island costs Php9k

One of my biggest problems when going on vacation in one of the smaller islands in Palawan is lack of internet connectivity. The one we’re staying right now (Coral Bay, Coron) doesn’t even have electricity 24/7 and we’re only able to charge our gadgets in the evening (6pm to 6am).
