We visited the huge Asus Booth at the Computex the other day and saw a section for customized or modded PC gaming rig. Was even more surprised that one of the coolest rigs there was custom-built by one of our Filipino delegation to the event.

The Armor Suit Z77 is based on Asus’ TUF boards (The Ultimate Force series) that’s design for efficient cooling and covered with Thermal Armor.
This cool mod was designed and created by local designer Paul Tan, commisioned by Asus and brought on display at Computex 2012. The base board is an Asus Sabertooth Z77 (debuted in CeBit 2012 early this year).

The whole rig was built from the ground up using aluminum, acrylic and sticker film. The final output looks like a siege tank or an anti-bomb disposal robot.
Pretty cool, huh?

We’ll talk to Paul Tan some more and show you a few of the design works in the local modding community.

Well i would consider to buy it only if there’s more details on why it’s designed that way including good specs.
For me, it’s not the look of the body that counts here. Its what’s inside that counts.

Very unusual design. Would have been nicer to know the tech-specs on the “Tank”.
