“Warlords of Draenor gives players a chance to take a commanding role in one of the Warcraft series’ most crucial conflicts,” said Blizzard CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime. “This expansion also includes features that make it easy for anyone to jump right into the action, whether they’ve played WoW at some point in the past or are just setting foot in Azeroth for the first time.”

Below are some of the new features:

  • Higher detail, updated animations, and new visuals of classic Warcraft races.
  • Level cap raised to 100.
  • Option to instantly boost one character, including a newly created character, to level 90. This enables WoW players to quickly and easily participate in the content they’re most interested in.
  • Construct your own Garrison, an expandable, customizable stronghold that will serve as each player’s personal base of operations throughout the course of the expansion. As the Garrison grows, players will be able to recruit NPC allies and followers to take up residence, gathering resources and embarking on missions on the player’s orders.
  • New Zones, Dungeons, Raids, Scenarios, Battlegrounds, and more.
  • Questing improvements designed to encourage exploration and add unpredictability to players’ ongoing adventures.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is set to arrive in 2014.

Tell me those things after playing GW2. Bilis ko naumay sa GW2, as a GW1 player. I never expected it to be so shallow. Even a 5 year old kid can play GW2. Its pure grind. Regular updates and live events? Sinong linoko mo, ganun din naman. I can’t find “soul” in GW2. Mas maganda pa mag install na lang ng RO sa Steam. lol Nothing will change even if you stop playing or not. GW1 > GW2.

I never played WOW or any MMORPGs that’s pay to play, unlike the local mediocre favorites like M.U, Dragona,Cabal, perfect world, Ran, bounty hounds online… well I stopped for quite some time, I didn’t mind paying in game for items to have more advantage in-game, but micro transaction MMOs like that becomes boring in due time, oh god Ran Online, wasted fuckload of money in that game it’s like buying all the WoW main and expansion packs. And that’s the point where I had an idea to buy MMORPG like WoW, FFIX online, Guildwars 2 or even wait for the ESO. But I got the Guidwars 2 instead, and I’m happy, why? Because the other MMOs require a monthly fee, it may not be much to pay but still it’s kinda a rip-off, I know they require the funds, for instance in the case of WoW, they’re still going strong throughout these years with those expansion packs. And because Guild Wars 2 promotes a different kind of gameplay, which most MMOs try not to venture because it’s against tradition or something like that on it’s genre, so if you’re planning to play a massive open world MMORPG that’s not like the local games you play go for Guild Wars 2. I wrote this for those who got curious on this WoW expansion pack and therefor had an idea of buying WoW or buy MMORPGs for ‘casual’ play.
