Asus Philippines launched another one of their 5th generation N-Series laptops last Friday, the Asus N45SF and the N55SF.
Along with the new ones are the older models, including last year’s big-ass Asus NX90 multimedia laptop.
I though they would not be selling a lot of these but it turns out 30 customers bought these since it was introduced.

The NX90 comes with some impressive speakers from Bang & Olusen. The 18.4″ display, Bluray drive and awesome speakers make the NX90 a luxury multimedia theater laptop.
And since not everybody can afford the price tag, Asus produced some midrange units that’s a third of the price — a 14-inch Asus N45SF and the 15-inch Asus 55SF.

The Asus N45SF will retail for Php42,995 while the Asus N55SF has a retail price of Php44,995.
For the price, I prefer my G74SX over the NX90….
Superior specs and i got it for “Cheap” at 89,000…
Then again mine is just a 17.3″ and i am stuck with a Siberia V2 headset for sound quality…….

My bro in law bought the NX90 in Taipei the week it came out last year. He didn’t like the B&O speakers.
So now it’s lying there in his office… just a back-up to his old VAIO.

Even I wanted the NX90 before, I was drooling over the elegance of the NX90. But since obviously I can’t afford it, good thing the NX90 speakers are the same as the N45SF plus a subwoofer.
I’ll plunk that kind of moolah if that laptop can have sex with me! Or at least make me hot. Hahaha! Hot in my wallet, perhaps.

At the time of its release this was the mother of all laptops.

Alright! Did you see that GT555M that’s inside those Asus N45 laptops? One more step and it’s on the GTX series na! Then again, these are the ONE’s that are used on the Alienware M14X.
Yes, it’s an Alienware M14X killer at roughly half of the price, minus the back light keyboard though.
