The Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H is one feature-rich motherboard I have used — it has functionalities not normally seen on regular motherboards. This model has the latest ATI 790GX chipset and incorporates a Radeon 3300 IGP.
Here’s the specs overview:
- Supports AMD Phenom and Athlon CPUs
- Dual Channel DDR2 1066 MHz (4×4GB up to 16GB RAM)
- Built-in 128MB DDR3 1333MHz SidePort Memory
- Integrated ATI Radeon HD3300 graphics (DirectX10)
- dual PCI-E 2.0 x16 interface with ATI CrossFireX/Hybrid CrossFireX support
- Gigabit Ethernet and IEEE1394
- built-in 106dB SNR ALC889A HD audio
- Integrated HDMI/ DVI interface with HDCP
- DualBIOS with dual hardware BIOS protection

One obvious advantage of this model is the extended number of expansion slots — you get up to 12 USB ports, 4 RAM slots, 6 SATA 3G ports, 7 PCI/PCIe slots and 2 IEEE 1394 headers.
The Gigabyte mobo seems perfect for overclocking CPUs because of its stability and controllability. I built a rig with this one along with an AMD Phenom 9950 X4 and a Palit ATI Radeon HD4870 X2 512-bit GDDR5 with great results.

Benchmark results can be reviewed here along with performance numbers. This item isn’t available locally but may get a price tag in the north of Php7,000 when it goes out.
