Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz on SuperPi

A number of netbooks nowadays are running the low-end Intel Atom Z520 at 1.33GHz. While the processor speed may seem slow compared to the usual N270 processors used in majority of netbooks, we tried this one out and ran Super Pi.

The results are pretty decent:

16K – 2 seconds
32K – 3 seconds
64K – 6 seconds
128K – 12 seconds
256K – 25 seconds
512K – 56 seconds
1M – 121 seconds
2M – 272 seconds

The netbook we used was the 11.6″ Acer Aspire One AO751h with an Atom Z520 @ 1.33GHz, 2GB DDR2 RAM and 250GB HDD.
