Lenovo IdeaPad S100

Looks like Lenovo is a little late with the coming out of their dual-core netbooks in the Philippines. We just saw the Lenovo IdeaPad S100 being sold in stores for Php19,500.

Lenovo IdeaPad S100
10.1-inch LED display @ 1024×600 ixels
Intel Atom N570 (1.66GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 667MHz)
Intel GMA 3150
2GB DDR3 RAM
320GB HDD
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1
10/100Mbps LAN
Card Reader
6-cell Li-Ion battery
Windows 7 Starter

The netbook is relatively thin at jus 0.75-inch and weighs only 2.2lbs. We’re not sure what’s the actual mAh rating of the 6-cell battery though and the Windows 7 Starter kind of justified why they priced this under Php20k.

The suggested retail price of the IdeaPad S100 is Php19,500 which is within the vicinity of other dual-core netbooks from Asus and Acer.

Specs-wise, this will be eaten by the HP Pavillion DM1 for breakfast :)

I don’t even think you would be able to decent games with that.. :)

For a mere P2000 pesos difference and a bit heavier at 3.5lbs, but you will get an AMD E-350 processor and ATI 6100 discrete graphics.

    Win 7 Home Basic pa…

May I know what laptop that is? I would need a new one soon. Something small and light, but enough for me to play games in.

I already mentioned HP Pavillion DM1 right?
Try checking it out at villman. That is where I bought my unit.

Ako netbook ko Asus Eee 1015 PEM. Ang nilalaro ko Zulu. Puede rin The Sims 2000.

    • Momo says:

Well may sense nga naman ang tanong… Well ang gusto ko kasi something compact na pwede ko dalhin to work to sneakily play mga basic online games lang naman. I’m mostly on-the-go with lots of other things with me because of my profession kaya netbook with minimal graphic specs hanap ko. ok na?

di sa sinisiraan ang HP laptop and netbooks but defective ang mga new releases nila ngaun. Laging my drawback at sinosoli ang mga Hp laptops based from technical repair centers. So I highly recommend this netbook for all of you guys. I got it at PC express for only 17,850 so i think its a competitive netbook against other brands

gg, just want to ask if the speakers are loud? I’m looking for a netbook that has decent stereo speakers. Decent is when you put the volume in half, you could still hear the sound clearly.

  4. ang mura na kaya! 13,900 na lang sa hurricane, better yet sa octagon 12,900 on cash basis!

  5. [...] the same design as the IdeaPad S100 but will upgraded [...]
