@Voice of reason, i was just at an MSI store today and it really isn't a netbook. the neo is athlon's ULV counter for intel's ULVs. a little powerful than a netbook and yet mobile. consider it, cheap ultraportables. MSI can address the battery life issue, they offer aftermarket 9 cell batteries should you wish to upgrade. Not like most netbooks and ulvs.

It's not a netbook. Netbooks are typically characterized by poor useability, absolutely abysmal performance and great battery life. This is a small, cheap laptop with middling battery life and great usability, plus business-class support options.

And it is warmer than a netbook, for sure. But not exactly hot, compared to for instance some of the older P4 laptops that would really bake your legs. The heat is not the issue-- it's really the battery life.

abe, did you notice this is hotter than most netbooks? it's quieter but hotter in time because of the athlon processor. can you confirm?
