You’d think that being hailed as the #1 printer brand for two years in a row (2011 and 2012) will be enough for Canon, but it seems that the Japanese company is gunning for a three-peat this year with their new Pixma printers geared for business use.
Their 2013 portfolio consists of four MX-series printers (MX397, MX457, MX527 and MX927) and an Ink Efficient E610 printer. All of these printers are imbued with Canon’s proprietary printing technology called FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) that enables each printer to produce high-quality printouts.
But these printers are not just about quality; Canon new offerings are also equipped with ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) technology that allows it to print, scan and copy up to 30 pages. The MX927 takes it a notch higher, making it 35 pages in one go and has the ability to print, scan and copy both sides of the document thanks to its auto-duplex feature. Also, the PIXMA MX927 has Double Front Paper Cassette enabling users to load two different paper sizes at a time.
In addition to its printing prowess, the PIXMA MX457, 527 and 927 are Wi-Fi enabled making it possible for users to wirelessly print documents even on their mobile devices.
Here are the prices of the new Canon printers:
