HP is introducing a new line of netbooks as an update to its Mininote 2133. This time the HP Mini Note 1000 drops the sluggish Via processor for an Intel Atom CPU. Spotted on the homepage of the HP Shopping site, the Mini 1000 will start at $399.99 for the basic specs. The Mininote 2133 has had a lot of negative reviews for its slow processor, heat dissipation and relative weight. The Mini 1000 will be lighter (about 2.25lbs) and thinner (les than 1 inch).
