Good to see that this article recommended at least a Core i3 chip, too many notebooks being released these days with Celeron or Pentium which are actually rebranded Atom netbook processors.

    However…

Recently there are some notebooks that have a Pentium 3825U processor. What’s special about this is that it’s not an Atom rebrand but a Core i3 rebrand; it’s a full-fledged 14nm Broadwell laptop chip with hyperthreading. Villman has the following units with the Pentium 3825U —

    1.) Lenovo 100-14 80RK001HPH 14-inch HD Intel Pentium 3825U/2GB/500GB/1GB NVIDIA GeForce 920M/Windows 10 Home
    2.) Acer E5-473-P3NZ 14-inch WXGA/Pentium 3825U/2GB/500GB/Intel HD/Windows 8.1 BING
    3.) HP 14-AC011TU SILVER 14-inch HD/Pentium 3825U 1.90GHZ/2GB/500GB/Intel HD/DVD/Windows 8.1 BING

They all come with Windows 8.1/10 and start at 17k, and the Lenovo one even comes with dedicated graphics for 19k. Just add 2k to upgrade the RAM to 4 gigabytes and you’re set for office work and light gaming.
