Acer unveils its latest Windows 8 Ultrabook that features a unique four-in-one design. Meet the revolutionary Aspire R7.
The Aspire R7 is as sleek and attractive as the Aspire S7 that we’ve reviewed before. For starters, it sports a 15.6-inch Full HD 1920×1080 touchscreen display, an Intel Core i5 1.8GHz processor, 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 24GB SSD and a full-size backlit keyboard.
The real fun begins when you take advantage of the “Ezel Hinge” that allows the R7 to transform into four different modes: Ezel Mode, Notebook Mode, Display Mode, and Pad Mode. To give you a quick idea of the modes, take a look at the image below:
The R7 also features a volume control button, HD webcam, dual mics, HDMI port, SD card reader, audio jacks, USB 3.0 (x2), USB 2.0, WiFi, Bluetooth and a convenient converter port supporting VGA, RJ45 and USB. It weighs 5.3 lbs and measures 1.1-inches thin.
