After months of waiting and leaks, Apple has finally unveiled the refreshed iPad Air, and as expected, it has a lot of upgraded internals, a new Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a lot more.
For the design, the iPad Air 2 is thinner at 6.1mm and will now come in a gold color. It runs on a new A8X 64-bit CPU paired with an M8 motion co-processor, boasting improved performance.

Another thing that Apple is boasting is the new 8 megapixel f/2.2 camera that can not only do the basics but also panoramas, timelapse, slo-mo videos and a lot more, all as if Apple wants tablet photography to be a trend.
As you’d expect, Touch ID is also coming to the iPad Air, and it will function accordingly with Apple Pay.
