We should complain to Asus why there is no option to install apps and their data to external SD. There are also quite a number of apps that will install fine and then disappear after the tablet is turned off then back on. The apps are still installed and are taking up space but the OS does not recognize it with a message that says “App is not installed”. This usually happens to apps that install part of its program or data to the external SD. You have to install the app again from the Play store and then uninstall it to remove all of its files. I understand that this is a KitKat issue but the tablet’s meager 8GB (~4GB available to user) runs out real quick after a few large apps. Google has effectively made 8GB tablets irrelevant with this move in KitKat. Why did Asus even bother to put an external SD slot when the ability to move apps into it has been wrested from the user?
Sure the performance of this tablet is great but this issue is hardly trivial anymore and is fast becoming a major annoyance.

The Miracast Wireless display is also broken. It only works 25% of the time. This was supposed to ameliorate the absence of an HDMI out port.

Asus, get your act together! Hound Intel if you have to.

Huwaw, lumalamon ng Tegra 4 at Snapdragon 800 itong tablet na ito sa napakamurang halaga! Definitely a a great value if we can buy it now…. Kelan kaya lalabas ang fonepad version nito, same power with the ability to call/text/mobilesurf…

Seems to be pretty killer for 7k. Similar performance sa Tegra Note for 3k less.

Asus is not the first, nor the only, tablet manufacturer who came out with a design with buttons on the rear side. I’ve used and seen other brands.
