ASUS PadFone Infinity Lite unveiled in Taiwan

ASUS has silently unveiled in Taiwan the lighter version of its PadFone Infinity 2 from last year, the PadFone Infinity Lite.

The ASUS PadFone Infinity Lite sports a 5-inch Full HD Super IPS display, 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing, and 32GB of internal storage.

Running under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 2,400mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jellybean but is expected to be updated to 4.4 Kitkat.

Being a PadFone, the device works in tandem with a 10.1-inch Full HD tablet dock that can provide an extra 5,000mAh worth of battery life.

The ASUS PadFone Infinity will be released in Taiwan in March and will sell for 13,990 TWD (almost Php21,000) for the smartphone and an extra 7,000 TWD (around Php10,000) for the tablet dock.
