Asus Taichi finally lands for Php85,990

The dual-screen Asus Taichi is now available locally and retails for about Php85,990 in stores. This ultrabook features two display screens with one being used as a full-touch Windows 8 tablet.

We’ve had about a week’s time with the Asus Taichi back in December and it has always gotten a lot of attention when we use it in public like coffee shops. The dual-screen mode is something we had to get used to but does have some pretty interesting case use (especially with sharing the screen).

Asus Taichi specs:
11.6-inch IPS LCD, 1080p, 1920×1080 pixels, 189ppi
Intel Core i7-3517U 1.9GHz, up to 3.00 GHz on Turbo Boost
4GB DDR3 RAM
256GB SATA3 SSD
Intel HD Graphics 4000
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band 2.GHz & 5GHz
Bluetooth 4.0
2 x USB 3.0 ports
1 x micro HDMI
1 x docking connector
1 x mini VGA Port
Bang & Olufsen speakers
Windows 8
35 Whrs Polymer battery
306.6 x 199.3 x 17.4mm (dimensions)
1.25kg (weight)

The suggested retail price for this configuration is Php85,990.

Try Villman. This is the high-end model, double the SSD storage and using Core i7. I think there’s a more affordable variant with Core i5 and 128GB but not sold locally.

mahal talaga yan, yung i7 palang 15k na.. yung ssd more than 10k.

      tapos yung dual screen pa.
