CloudFone has just released its latest Android tablet to run an Intel CPU, the CloudPad 800w.
The CloudPad 800w is the first tablet from a local brand to sport an Intel CPU. It features a 7.85-inch XGA (1024 x 768) display at 163ppi, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card support for up to 32GB, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1.
Powering the device is an Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4,600mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jellybean.
The CloudPad 800w is now available for only Php8,999 in all CloudFone kiosks nationwide.
this device is still not available here in the philippines, this is a rebranded Teclast P89 Mini here is the feedback of the first user, kayo na magdecide. http://mikecanex.wordpress.com/2013/09/17/first-user-review-of-teclast-p89-mini-is-devastating/
i wonder if this is rootable and resizable internal memory, then this would be a perfect device! :)
I think this is a decent tablet. The battery is sufficient. It is after all a 7.85 inch tab. Usually 7 inch tablets have 3000mah batteries. Even the new gen Nexus 7 only has 3950mah battery compared to 4600mah battery for this unit. I would even say fhat is impresive.
With Php991.00 more, you can get the Starmobile Engage 9i with better display, better battery and 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is only 16GB but you can always expand via microSD. It’s a better buy IMO.

Downside = Battery.. Come on! No one wants to recharge their gadget every 4 f*cking hours! This is really not suitable for outdoor use. Mostly kaya lang naman nabili ng Tab dahil gagamitin for Outdoor use. Kung gusto mo ng gadget na maganda at sa bahay ka lang, Edi bumili ka nalang ng PC.
Really? Tablets are commonly used outdoors? Talaga lang ha…
Pang-outdoor pala ang tablet? Iyong iPad ko hinde ko nga nakikita kung anong nasa screen pagnasa “outdoor” ako.
DOA = Dead On Arrival
