Dell Inspiron 910 to launch on August 22

Dell’s UMPC flagship unit is now called Inspiron 910 (formerly dubbed the Dell E and E Slim series) and is reported to be launching on the 22nd.

The Dell Inspiron 910 will have similar specs are reported earlier:

Intel Atom 1.6 GHz
4, 8, 12GB Flash Drives
512MB to 1GB DDR2 RAM
1.3/0.3 megapixel camera
WiFi 802.11 b/g
Bluetooth
Card reader
3 USB 2.0 ports
4-cell battery (~5 hours)
Ubuntu Linux or Windows XP
~2.2 lbs (1kg)

I have yet to get confirmation from Dell PH if the Inspiron 910 will also be released in the Philippines or how much it would cost.

Rumors say the Inpiron 910 will have a price starting from $299. The Lenovo S10 will go for $399

It looks expensive because it’s a photoshopped image! The actual photos show it’s as bland as can be, especially without the F keys. So they’d better keep it cheap, because when the Lenovo netbooks come out they’ll be blown out of the water if they’re at the same price.
