Just after four months after Dell launched their first ultrabook in the Philippines, the PC company has introduced two new 14†ultrabooks that would give consumers more option to choose from.
First up is the Dell Inspiron 14z. This machine is aimed at the budget-conscious market who wants a taste of ultrabook goodness without spending too much. Apart from meeting Intel’s minimum standards for an ultrabook, Dell has also thrown in some features to differentiate Inspiron 14z from the rest of the pact. The ultrabook is said to keep you company for up to 7 hours on a single full charge.
At a glance, this ultrabook may be mistaken for an ordinary laptop but looking closely at its specs will solidify its place in that category.

Next up is the XPS 14, which is the big brother of the XPS 13 that was just launched four months ago. Though both Ultrabooks bares similarities, there are also a handful of differences between the two besides the screen size.
The XPS 14 is a fine piece of hardware which boasts a machined aluminum body with magnesium palm rest and a very crisp and bright 900p, 400-nit 14†True Life Infinity display protected from scratches by the tough edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass. Although the XPS 14 is still lighter compared to typical laptops, its 4.6lbs weight ranks the second heaviest Ultrabook in the market right now, with the heaviest being the HP Envy 6t-1000 ultrabook. Dell promises up to 11 hours of normal use of the XPS 14.

Both of these ultrabooks are already available at Dell Concept Stores and authorized retailers nationwide. The Inspiron 14z sells for Php44,990 and the XPS 14 with base configuration goes for Php68,990.

Mukhang typo yung sa graphics card ng Inspiron 14z. Sa mga nakikita ko na sites 7570M at hindi 7750M ang nasa laptop.
How come a screen with 1366×768 resolution be a 720p?
because 720p is defined as a resolution of 1280×720 so obviously 1366×768 is even higher..

This is very overpriced. @ P69k They still use 1333MHz freq ram? (majority at 1600MHz), ONLY 32GB of SSD? (Category standard starts @128GB) Whats up with the 5400-RPM HDD? At the very least they could’ve made it 7200RPM, and all that at 4.6 lbs.

32GB SSD – for cache lang to, so di kailangan ng 128gb
5400RPM HDD – tell me an ultrabook na may 7200RPM na nandyan sa market ngayon.
