Previous leaks related to the Samsung-made Galaxy Nexus 10 tablet are only of sample images and speculated specs. But thanks to BriefMobile.com we now have live images of the device as well as further details on what it will be packing under the hood.
Richard Shim was right. The upcoming Google Nexus 10 will sport a 10.1-inch display with a 2560×1600 resolution at 299 ppi. Now for the “high-end” part, it will be carrying the Samsung Exynos 5250 chipset with dual-core Cortex-A15 processors clocked at 1.7GHz supported by a Mali-T604 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
As for its physical design and construction, the Nexus 10 was said to have a brushed aluminum back, rubber coated edges and “extremely” light and thin. It will also sport a 5 megapixel rear camera with flash, a front-facing camera, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, dual speakers on the front and at least 16GB of non-expandable built-in memory. The entire device will run on Android 4.2 Jellybean (yes, it’s still called Jellybean) out of the box.
Add up all the specs mentioned above and we’re looking at a true Android elite. Hopefully the Google Nexus 10 gets its official unveiling on October 29th.
Android 5.0 ang Key Lime Pie. Huwag kayong mga tanga!
It’s fast and simple: that’s what you call efficiency.
You keep bashing on it’s looks like your only going to buy it to show off.
Typical.
anybody know a store in Manila which carries this?
@john
hindi po sya tanga. ceegii63 was just making an observation that with all these talks about the new tablet releases, the ipad mini had been largely overlooked. it was actually quite funny and spot on, come to think of it.
ang panget kc ng GPU at walang GPS ung windows 8 tablet at ang mahal pa kaya kakatamad bumili :(
That’s one ugly tablet. No one will buy that piece of plastic.
iPad Mini anyone?
Ugliest tablet ive seen.
agree with this.
and i’m an android/samsung fan.
I’m just speculating. I think the reason Google didn’t go with Asus again is because there have been several manufacturing problems it experienced with Nexus 7: delays, mediocre build quality, defects.
Then again, Asus might not have wanted to manufacture a new line of 10 inch tablet that would have directly competed with its own set of tablets (TF101)
Back cover looks tinny. Kinda reminds me of the back tin plate casing of a 70’s model of C-3PO to be honest XD. Still won’t stop me from drooling at those specs though, amazing!
One thing btw, I wonder when the official unveiling will be now that Google has cancelled its event for the 29th.
design sucks, mas okey pa yung mga tablets ng LENOVO,
Lokbu talaga ang samsung! Sana sa asus nalang or sony
I think the tablet just ate iPad’s retina display!
Is this some unreleased tablet in the 90s? It looks very old!
What the fuck ? No wonder it’s fucking ugly. Samsung = Ugly. Fucking disappointed Google. It should’ve been ASUS again.
Hmmm I dunno. They should work on a much better design I think but the specs sound fantastic.
The SHOULD FIRE the whole design team for christ’s sake.
baduy ng design. LOL
the iPad Mini sits in a corner mumuering:
“Hey what about me?”
iPad 4 po ang kalaban ng Nexus 10. Wag po tanga :)
Anyway… design sucks. Samsung eh… alam na!
This is better! #AsusGoogleNexus7 is a bit off the track for camera freaks.. Haha
Knew it, jelly been pa rin ang 4.2 XD
Interested ako sa exynos 5 processor pero ayaw ko pa bumili ng tablet… Kung bibili ako, windows surface pro na lng (kung may pambili ako lol)
But I can’t wait for the nexus 10 reviews none the less :D
Btw great design, samsung finally listened and used aluminum, would it be prone to scratches?
Actually, some tech sites like PhoneArena, says 4.2 will be called Key Lime Pie. and that’s what I knew a few months ago before the announcement.
Yup, I’ve heard the key lime pie rumors but didn’t believe it was going to be 4.2, it’s too soon :)
Too bad that the project road runner rumor for the 4.2 isn’t true… That would have been great XD
And I am the only one that thinks that the design is great since it’s almuninum now rather than plastic? O.o
Hindi pa po dumating ang Key Lime Pie, by April pa siya of 2013. And Key Lime Pie is 5.0 Android.
