You can place your order in Google Play store. It will ship on July.
Tried to place an order in the Google Play store since I’m in the US right now… unfortunately the store does not accept Philippine credit cards for ordering the tablet. >_<
IPS SCREEN DISPLAY JUST LIKE THE IPAD’S…
199$ 8gb
249$ 16gb
I’m so getting the 16gb model :>
I hope they release or ASUS releases a with SD card slot version
Wow, if it’s just $199

$199 sa playstore. Magkano naman kaya pagdating dito sa pinas?
VERY competitive price. This will sell very well here in the Philippines. The problem is that, just like with the kindle fire, the $199 price-point will definitely not provide a 199×43 (roughly P8,600) price tag here in the Philippines. The conversion have always been roughly $1 = P60in terms of pricing. so a P12,000 price tag will be expected for the 8gb version. Even with that kind of price, it’s still a very good buy.

I don’t think so. ASUS is an already established brand in the country. Also, if Apple can maintain the same price point in this country. Let’s say not to be the case in ASUS. At most, the price point will be around 9-10K here. The one closes to that is the Cherry Mobile tablet.
Nice Hardware + Updated software + Very Competitive Price
walang 3G?
Sir yuga! Great idea for yugadeals! Para mura lang shipping! Yehay!
sayang walang camera sa harap.
Meron sa likod ang wala!
Ay ou nga back nga pala hehe. .
199$ for 8GB with no SD slot? pass ako dito…
Since Kindle Fire is tagged as “iPad killer”, yung Kindle Fire ang ginawang model ng Google para tapatan ang iPad. Competitive pricing with decent specs. Good job, Google. Sana may 7-inch version din ang Microsoft Surface.

sana nga magkaroon din yung microsoft ng 7″ na surface…or other brands that will produce a windows 8 tablet (Maybe nokia, samsung, acer, etc..)at the same price as nexus 7.. since it was rumored that a mini ipad is also coming… i hope apple and microsoft could consider this if they want equal market shares…
sana same price lng dito sa pinas… ang mga vendor kasi overprice kung minsan… cheap sa ibang bansa then pagdating sa atin, mahal na!
sana ung 16gb na version nasa $250 talaga so it means nasa 10750 lng sya!!!
Price maybe around 15k
I hope Johnny Air won’t ask a premium when shipping it here …
