Listen to article

Google is going to partner with Samsung for a 10-inch Google Nexus tablet, according to analysts.

Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch, said that Google is working with Samsung to produce a 10-inch Google Nexus tablet with a display that is better than Apple’s third-generation iPad. It will have a resolution of 2560×1600 which calculates to 311ppi versus the iPad’s 2048×1536, 264ppi.

“It’s going to be a high-end device,” Shim said. “They’ll partner with Samsung and cobrand it with Samsung,”

Shim has also confirmed that Google will start porduction of its $99 tablet this December.

You don’t have to wait for Sammy to release an upgrade to their Tabs. I have a Tab2 10.1 and Tab2 7.0 and both are running JellyBean. Just need to root the device and flash the CM10 ROMs and you’re good to go……
