Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Windows RT lands for Php45k

Saw this Lenovo Windows RT laptop yesterday at one fo the PC shops in Market Market. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 looks like a typical ultrabook that uses an nVidia chip and Windows RT.

So instead of the typical Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and a full Windows 8 OS, this laptop uses a tablet configuration.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 specs:
11.6″ multi-touch display @ 1366×768 pixel
nVIDIA Tegra 3
nVIDIA ULP GeForce
2GB DDR3L RAM
64GB SSD storage
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth
2 USB 2.0 ports
HDMI port
1.0MP 720p HD integrated webcam
2-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC)
4-cell Li-Ion battery

The 4-cell battery is said to have a battery life of about 13 hours on a single full charge. The device weighs about 2.8lbs and is really thin and light. The retail price for this unit is Php44,995 which is already pretty expensive and in the ultrabook range.

At CES this week, Lenovo also announced an IdeaPad Yoga 11s running an Intel CPU and Windows 8.

I really don’t get this, it’s painfully expensive. Even Asus touchscreen laptops are far more better and cheaper than this!

Kahit microsoft fan ako, I won’t buy this. Better pa ang Surface if RT lang ang requirement mo. I hope maglabas ng Surface na Atom based, dahil yung Surface Pro naman would be priced out of my range.

Looking forward sa ThinkPad Tablet 2, hope you can cover it here sa website.

Not a fan of Apple, but will choose MacBookAIR compare dito. Atleast dun, mas madami pa ako magagawa.
