Lenovo Unveils Ideapad 100S, Windows 10 Notebook for $189

This year’s IFA in Berlin is in full swing, and Lenovo is one of the first companies to make a huge announcement by unveiling 5 new PCs which include the new sub-$200 notebook dubbed as the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S.

A successor of the IdeaPad 100 which made its local debut back in June, the new Ideapad 100S inherited most of the features of its precursor which include its lightweight and uncluttered design.

As you would expect from a budget notebook PC, the Ideapad 100S’ internals aren’t cut out for heavy workloads. Its hardware components comprises of either an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor or an Intel Celeron N3050 processor with 2GB of RAM and a measly 32GB internal storage.

The 11.6-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 100S will set you back $189, while the 14-inch flavor can be had for $259. Now if you’re a fan of Chrome OS, there’s also an IdeaPad 100S for you which is $10 cheaper compared to the Windows version.
