Of the many number of tablets that has been announced this week, the most likely units that will eventually arrive in the Philippines are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (SGT P7100) and the LG Optimus Pad.
The Motorola Xoom looks sweet but I doubt it will be officially released in the Philippines while HTC Flyer doesn’t really have enough genetic make-up to really compete with the other tablets.

Samsung’s first 7-inch Galaxy Tab was already a hit so a more powerful 10-incher would certainly close the gap between their own Android tablet and Apple’s iPad.
However, considering the first Galaxy Tab was selling for a very expensive Php35k price-point, it’s a little hard to compete with the iPad which starts at just Php23k. Hopefully, Samsung will also offer a cheaper WiFi-only version of their tablet at under Php25k.
Based on previous pricing schemes, we’d expect the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to sell around Php35k or a little bit higher. As for the LG Optimus Pad, my guesstimate is somewhere between Php30 – Php35k.
Guyz! Actually.. ang 2.4 Android ay Gingerbread pa rin.. Pls. don’t compare this with HTC Flyer dahil 3.0 Honeycomb na to.. while ang flyer ay 2.4 Gingerbread lang..and! the 2.5 is actually Ice Cream Sandwich..
