MSI Wind U90 sells for Php19,500

Apparently, the 8.9-inch MSI Wind U90 is also available in the Philippines and selling for Php19,500 at selected branches of PC Corner. Now the cheap Acer Aspire One has a strong competitor in the sub-20k 9″ UMPC segment.

Aside from the display size difference between the U100 and the U90, the latter MSI Wind has no Bluetooth connectivity.

Specs and pricing for the MSI Wind U90 is as follows:

Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 80GB HDD, 1GB RAM: Php19,500

Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 80GB HDD, 1.5GB RAM: Php19,999

Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 160GB HDD, 2GB RAM: Php23,999

The units doesn’t have Windows XP pre-installed. The MSI Wind line-up just became more interesting. See my review of the MSI Wind U100 here.
