Neo eXplore X1 price drops to Php11,998

Inching really close to the Php9,995 Blue H1 UMPC, the Neo Explore X1 gets some price cuts too — now down to Php11,998 from the original Php16,999.

Still, makes you wonder what happened to the other Neo Explore X2 as well. Just look at these year-old specs:

Intel Celeron M ULV 353 900MHz
Intel GMS915 + ICH6-M
512 MB DDR2
7″ display LCD (800×480 pixel screen resolution)
Windows XP Starter Edition
30GB HDD (apparently, there’s a 60GB version as well)
10/100 Mbps LAN
802.11 b/g WiFi
SD/MMC Card Reader
6-cell battery, 3-4 hours

neo explore x1

Neo should drop the prices for the X1 and the X2 like crazy and just concentrate on the Atom-touting Neo Vivid V1100.

Hahaha testy huh? I also saw this at MegaMall. This is actually the First Generation Classmate PC. I would consider this in favor of other netbooks for the reason that its designed to be rugged for various conditions quite similar to the OLPC XO-1.

I’ve seen a number of stores selling the Explorer X2 (Classmate PC 2nd Generation) – you can find it also at the Neo showroom, but its still pricey at around P18k, but looks more sleek and sturdy compared to the 1st Gen. The problem though is that it still sports the Celeron CPU.

U are great in showing off w/lots of low-priced items. But….. where can we find them low-priced items? u can not even identify a store that offered them. When we get to stores, they’re priced alot higher than u suggested or published. So pls. identify a store than offer them otherwise stop printing the prices.
