Qube QTouch Windows 7 Tablet

Local PC retailer Qube is accepting pre-orders of what could be a 10-inch Windows 7 tablet they call QTouch. The Qube QTouch is one of the very few Windows-based tablet available locally and Qube claims you can install Android OS in it.

As most Windows 7 tablets go, the system is Intel-based and as such, would look very much like your regular netbook in terms of specs.

Qube QTouch Windows 7 Tablet
10.1” TFT Capacitive LCD Display @ 1024×600 pixels
Intel Lincroft Atom Z670 1.5GHz
Intel Whitneypoint SM35

1.3MP webcam
WiFi 802.11b/g/n

The tablet is 14.5mm thick and weighs 900 grams — a little bit on the heavier side. As for the price, the QTouch starts at a base price of Php19,999 for the WiFi-only and without the Windows 7 OS then goes up to Php24,999 if you want a WiFi+3G model and Windows 7 pre-installed.

You can just go to their website here and make the pre-order for the July 29 release.

I just bought one at alabang. With win7 and office installed, memory is almost at the 800MB. Is there a way to upgrade the internal memory to at least 2gb? Low memory make its difficult to print multiple pages as it needed more cache.

Positive: Long battery life to almost 12hrs.

    Hi qube.

I just want to know that I already tried the qube tablet in Gilmore last September or October and it was okay. My question is: Is there any way to increase the RAM memory from 1gb to 2 or 4gb? Because I really want a faster speed and proper keyboard functionality when I am on the field and playing games on the tablet.

Hope for your immediate response. Thanks.

Surprisingly, Yuga doesn’t have any comments and reviews for this gadget… and it’s been a while now since qube released this tablet.
qube doesn’t have any updates for their product either.
Theres a lot of questions that I think need to be answered.
People were asking for quite sometime now If this gadget is capable for a dual-OS boot.
And when do you plan to correct the keyboard errors I mentioned on page 1?
People who bought this tablet who got the same complain like me with regards to the keyboard errors, I think Qube should replace our keyboard.
Also, you should give us an update for other accessories that’ll be available on your stores.
(like screen guards, NEW leather cover and others)

    ^_^
