Samsung Galaxy Tab becomes official

So it’s official now — the Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 takes the center stage with a combo of Cortex-A8 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGX540 graphics.

The Galaxy Tab also comes with a SIM card slot for both data connectivity and voice so you can practically makes calls with it. The tablet measures 7 inches across and is pretty thin too at 11.98mm.

The tablet will be out before end of December this year but there’s no word on what the suggested retail price would be.

    i’ll get this one for sure once it’s released here sa Pinas. I don’t need a laptop for i already have a powerful desktop at home. what i need is a mobile device for internet browsing on the go and ebook reader. laptops are a trouble to carry around.

    I just went from a mall yesterday here in Philippines. The samsung sales clerk showed this one to us, accroding to him, this one costs 35,000 pesos… that is in GATEWAY MALL

    This is more ideal compare to ipad and it has lots of features and cheaper compare to ipad. Samsung doing great and it kills the expensive Apple products. Thanks to Samsung. I must have this one.
