Samsung Galaxy Tab becomes official

So it’s official now — the Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 takes the center stage with a combo of Cortex-A8 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGX540 graphics.

The Galaxy Tab also comes with a SIM card slot for both data connectivity and voice so you can practically makes calls with it. The tablet measures 7 inches across and is pretty thin too at 11.98mm.

The tablet will be out before end of December this year but there’s no word on what the suggested retail price would be.

    Interesting. Im frustrated with my iphone’s worthless bluetooth and lots of limitations(u know). This might be a great alternative to the ipad. Looks pretty too.

    does this have the same pixel density as the Sony Vaio P series? parang masakit sa mata.. This I would have to check out first before giving my verdict hehe

    Spec wise I would say it’s a great tablet (finally hindi na -pad yung pangalan)

    I love this tab way better than ipad when it comes to specs but ipad is
    Way better in apps.. Also android is not so good esp. If you are downloading too many apps. It slower the process..

    it is above 20k, then boo! if they release it by december, by that time, there will be 4000 peso china tablets too with 3G phone and froyo.

    Wow that will fit my cargo pants pocket hehe, borrowed this from an article I read earlier, The trade-off of tablet is obvious. You win because you can show a bigger picture, which is important, and you lose because it just won’t fit in many pockets
