Samsung X360: Lighter than Air? Almost.

Samsung new ultralight laptop took a cue from the Voodoo Envy 133. Obviously, this is an attempt to unseat the MacBook Air in the ultrathin department.

With a 13.3″ display, the Samsung X360 is only 1.27kg (2.8lbs) light and as thin as 0.66″. For storage, you’ll have a choice between a 64GB and 128GB SSD or a regular 120GB HDD.

It will run on one of those Centrino 2 ULV processor (1.2GHz and up), with RAM capacities of up to 4GB. There’s WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam, fingerprint reader, a 7-in-1 card reader and HDMI/VGA output.

Most impressive is the battery life. Samsung claims it can run for 6 hours and even extend it to 10 hours on a single charge. All these comes with a price which starts at $2,200 and above depending on your extra choices.
