Doing the heavy-lifting for this notebook is tandem of AMD A4-5000 quad-core processor and 4GB DDR3 RAM. For added boost on the graphics side, this notebook also equipped with Radeo HD 8000 series GPU.

Here’s a complete look of its configuration:

    great specs. but this laptop are perfect for gaming?

      you’re such a noob

      NO laptop is perfect for gaming! High-end specs or not, there’s just not enough ventilation to dissipate air!

      @abuzalzal

      ..but is your cherry mobile tablet good for gaming?

    • Avatar for Wow Wow says:

      @abubuzalzal

      Wow? Please define gaming? As far as I know most of laptops can run a few games or two. I think you mistook ‘gaming’ as “hard core caming”. Even playing plants vs zombies can be considered as gaming.

      YOU’RE the noob here.

    Anyway, kung “bargain” din lang ang gusto nyo, what about Acer E1-451G na may A8 APU with discreet 8750m na pwede i-crossfire sa iGPU? Matagal na yun na-release dito sa Pinas at nirerequest ko ng review at mas mura pa (P21k sa “Kanto”)

    Medyo mababa yung resolution,
    sana kahit 1440×900 man lang

    Wow, Villman’s pricing on this one does not look bad after all. I definitely expect this laptop to sell for around 21K at other laptop stores.

  13. Avatar for Jacob Jacob says:

    Seriously? You’re better off adding a few thousand and getting a Haswell-powered laptop with Iris graphics than buying an outdated processor. And this is coming from someone who’s been using AMD devices for a quite a long time.

    Haswell is that great on notebooks. See for yourself on forums and reviews on how long the battery life lasts and you’ll have second thoughts.

    Also, you should get a Momentus XT to go with that.

      Unfortunately, the Core i3 Haswell laptops we’re seeing around that’s available is still in the Php30k+ price range. As an example, an Acer Aspire V5 with Core i3-4010u with 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD sells for Php30,900 in VillMan.

    googled the laptop/cpu specs.. typo ata yung integrated graphics card, i think it should be “AMD Radeon HD 8330” rather than 8830?

    para kasing sobrang mura naman kung 8830M, mapapabili na sana ako, hehe..

    • Avatar for vjoefelix vjoefelix says:

      playable ba dito ang battlefield 3?

    • Avatar for Matthew Ames Matthew Ames says:

      Same here…a high-end GPU on an entry-level quad core looks wrong to me. I searched the GPU that came with the AMD A4-5000 APU and it really comes with RadeonHD 8330M, not 8830M.

      Sadly, the quad-core CPU in this one can be easily beaten by at least a dual-core Intel Sandy Bridge CPU. The GPU on the other hand, beats some of Intel’s iGPU.

    • Avatar for Abe Olandres Abe Olandres says:

      It’s a typo. We’ve corrected it.
