I guess the standard is getting a bit old, bit technically:

Thin & Light: 4-6 pounds (Example: 13.3″ Macbook Pro)
Ultraportable: less than 4 pounds (13.3″ Toshiba T230)

I noticed though that sometimes review sites still classify them as “ultraportable” even if they weigh more than 4 pounds, if they have a small form factor (Example: Alienware M11x which has an 11.6″ screen but weighs 4.4 pounds).
