Toshiba is also coming out with their very own tablet called the Toshiba Thrive. The Thrive tablet might be released by July and will run on Android 3.1 Honeycomb and a Tegra 2 processor.

This 10-incher will go head to head with the likes of the Asus Eee Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Motorola Xoom (which I don’t think will be officially released in the Philippines).

10.1″ display @ 1280 x pixel
NVidia Tegra 2 1.0GHz
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1
8GB, 16GB, 32GB internal storage

USB 2.0 port
5MP rear camera
2MP front-facing camera

The 8GB entry-level variant will be price at $429 which is smack right in the same price point as the other 10-inch Android tablets.

Yeah this thing packs way more features than any tablet out there. I Love it. who cares if its fat, I’m sure than most people getting an ipad2 or galaxy tab 10.1 will most likely buy a case to protect it from scratches so… itll end up being just as fat as the thrive
Thank you Toshiba for making something thats actually useful.
