Xiaomi first announced its Mi Pad tablet back in 2014 and then made a successor by 2015. Since then, we didn’t see any update regarding a 3rd generation until today.
The upcoming Mi Pad 3 has just leaked in all its glory and we already quite know a lot about it. It sports a 9.7-inch with a 2,048 x 1,536 resolution that matches the Apple iPad Pro 9.7. Its waistline measures 6.08mm and weight at just 380g.
It’s powered by a 7th-Gen Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor with 8GB of RAM and a choice between 128 or 256GB of storage. It runs Windows 10, not Android, but we can suspect another variant also. There an 8,290mAh battery built-in and a USB Type-C port. It’s got a 16MP and 8MP cameras on board.
The slate is expected to launch just before the year end, December 30, with a pricing of CNY 1,999 (~Php14,400) or CNY 2,299 (~Php16,600) depending on your storage options. There will be a keyboard dock that’s available for purchase at CNY 99 (~Php720).
Now that is a proper Win10 tablet spec. My mi pad 2 is running on android and win dual os, I’m expecting the same can be done with mi pad 3.
