Along with the ZTE Skate that was launched yesterday, MSI-ECS will also be carrying the ZTE Light Tab 2. Though still running an outdated Android Gingerbread, the Light Tab 2 comes with 3G function.
Last time we saw the ZTE Light Tab 2 was in Singapore back in June 2011 during CommunicAsia although that one was still using a 1GHz processor.
ZTE Light Tab 2 specs:
7.0-inch LCD @ 1024×600 pixels, 170ppi
1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon
Adreno 205
512 MB RAM
4GB ROM
up to 32GB via microSD card (4GB pre-installed)
3MP rear camera
VGA front-facing camera
HSDPA 14.4Mbps, HSUPA 7.2Mbps
Dolby Mobile Sound Technology
GPS w/ aGPS support
FM radio tuner
Li-Ion 3400mAh battery
Android 2.3 Gingerbread
The Light Tab 2 will retail for Php15,490 and should be available in stores soon. However, it might have a hard time selling at that price point since the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is also selling for Php16,990.

I have seen that wise real estate agents almost everywhere are getting
set to FSBO Advertising and marketing. They are seeing that it’s in addition to placing a sign post in the front area. It’s really regarding building human relationships with these traders who sooner
or later will become buyers. So, once you give your time and efforts to helping
these suppliers go it alone — the “Law of Reciprocity” kicks in.

Meron na ko nito last year pa! at only 14k, plus monthly 10hrs free internet from smart. I even already sold it sa tipidcp last January. This is the tablet offered by smartbro. Dami nagkalat nito sa Sulit at Tipidcp.
My only comment with this unit is it is darn too slow! hirap mag multi-task and open ng apps. better spend your 15k on other tablets.
buti pa ung cdr-king fastpad 10″ super bang for the buck IPS capacitive screen + cortex-a8 processor @ 7300 only
yeah, i saw that one. it only has 4gb of internal storage though (to be fair, it’s expandable via microsd).
ano akala nyo sa mga pinoy tanga para bilhin yan? Bili ka nalang ng Galaxy tab 2 7.0 much cheaper and better specs and every aspect or yet add 3k for an ipad2. Very 2010 ang specs, whahaha super outdated and overprice
how the heck is this still in Gingerbread?
Maybe they don’t know that Nexus 7 is coming. I think this will hardly sell even at $100.
Specifications are a year old… price too high.
I rather buy sumsung tab P3100 with that price.
ANg masasabi ko lang: Gooood luck ZTE ^_^
http://www.yugatech.com/personal-computing/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-lands-officially-priced/
and there is the quadcore jellybean powered nexus 7 at cheaper price.. kailangan mo talaga ng luck, madaming madami :D
@thejorlanb because they never fail the market in the first place. Lolololololol. Why do you guys comment on such things when you hav n knowledge at all about what is happening in themrket? Huawei? Really? the largest China-based and second world largest networking and telecommunications equipment supplier and the second-largest supplier of mobile telecommunications infrastructure equipment in the world. Zte? The worlds forth largest phone manufacturer by sales? Why are there so many ignorant people pesterin theinternet with things that cameout of their hollow heads? So stupid. Really? And you would rather praise manufacturer like RIM(blackberry) and Nokia who are on te brink of being bankrupt? I guess so because youre just idiots! Lololol
Isang malaking TROLL
ang gusto lang nya tukuyin ay yung price point. mahihirapan nga nmn cla ibenta yan sa ganyang presyo eh halos kaparehas yan ng mga mas sikat at mas reliable n brands (not to mention they are more powerful *twice the power to be precise* than this). im not saying na mababa ang quality o hindi sikat ang zte pero sa tingin mo wud u buy zte if there is more powerful and higher quality Samsung and Apple at almost the same price as an option?
and of course, this is really an outdated OS version for a tab. yeah sure there are custom roms out there, pero hindi lahat kayang gawin o willing mag risk para gawin yun.
“Why are there so many ignorant people pesterin theinternet with things that cameout of their hollow heads? ” -para sayo din ang sinabi mo tol. :)
You can talk about how rubbish a product is but to question how a double-digit-billion-yuan-a-year-company how it is run? Really? You question their global market strategies because d sikat sa pilipinas ang brand nila? What? Especially huawei? Really? Te fastest growing smartphone maker? Ni di ka nga siguro makabili ng sarili mong tablet and smartphone haha.
Eto ang mahirap sa mga nagmamagaling. Sa mga sinabi mo Carl bagay na bagay sayo. Kupal much lang. Magaling at alam mo na lahat nyan? So immature. Ikaw ang idiot at narrow minded. The hell.
So anong argument mo? Do i fucking care what you feel? Hira makidebte sa waang alam.
@Carl: Why do you even care what other people think about prices currently on the market?
@carl, bunganga mo naman! Lol hahaha
another fail product from zte. I really wonder why do they keep on selling products with its price not suited for its specs. d-_-“b
you’re just Php 3k away from iPad 2 with that price tag and you’ll get an enormous leap or difference from the specs.
I am confused, why does zte and huawei still sells products that will always have a hard time competing on the market with respect to pricing…?
