Canon just announced the world’s smallest and lightest dSLR and calls it the EOS Rebel SL1. The body alone weighs a mere 0.9lbs and measuring 4.6 x 3.6 x 2.7 inches.
The Rebel SL1 will probably be known as the EOS 100D when it arrives in the Philippines.

DIGIC 5 image processor
ISO 100-25600

The Canon Rebel SL1 will retail for $650 (body only) or $800 with the new 18-55mm STM lens. Expected release date in the Philippines is April 2013.
I hope to buy this DSLR soon. I find my current Canon 1100D a bit heavy.
I wouldn’t mind taking the flash off to make it smaller. :)
wish i could my kana-kana relatives would buy one for me. kaya lang, wala daw silang pera. ilang taon sila ibang bansa, wa pa rin silang ipon. pero tingnan mo sa facebook, namumutaktak ng gamit – the latest gadgets…nakalimutan na ko
sad:(
