GoPro HD Hero 4 to have 4K UHD 30fps video recording

Key features of the yet to be announced GoPro HD Hero 4 has already been made available online, showcasing a new SoC that enables the upcoming action camera to shoot 4K Ultra HD video resolution at 30 frames per second.

Ambarella, the company that makes the image processor for the GoPro has published an overview of their A9 4K Ultra HD SoC. Features include Super High Frame Rate Modes, Multi-exposure HDR, and image oversampling.

GoPro announced the Hero 3 last year in October, so we might see the GoPro HD Hero 4 next month.
