The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 is the likely successor to the popular Lumix LX3 and while it has not yet been officially released in the Philippines, a few units have been spotted in the grey market.
With a 1/1.63″ sensor size, the Lumix LX5 was announced back in July and brings some cosmetic and feature improvements over the LX3.

Spotted at an Infomaxx store this afternoon, the Lumix LX5 is being sold for Php35,000 despite the $US499 SRP.

minimal difference with lx3. If it is being sold at 35K then better get a GF1.
i’d rather buy nex-5, P3,000 lang pagitan.

Currently vacationing in Japan and saw it in that big electronics store in Akihabara (Yodobashi?)… its Y57,000 (roughly P30k). Not sure if you can take 5% off duty free, in which case it would be about P28,500. The catch… no english interface available

Shame on INFOMAXX for excessive mark-up. A small shop in Robinsons, Pioneer will most likely offer the LX5 at the 25k mark. Last time I visited, the have the LX3 for 19.5k and NEX-5 for 34K.
