Samsung NX300 comes with WiFi and NFC

The recently launched Samsung NX300 is one feature-packed camera. Aside from the built-in WiFi (Direct Link), it also features NFC for better connectivity with other smartphones and tablets.

The NX300 has 20.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, an ISO range of 100 to 25,600, and a shutter speed of up to 1/6000th of a second. In burst mode it can make 8.6 shots per second and can record videos of up to 1080p at 60 fps. Other features include a 3.3-inch AMOLED tiltable touchscreen display, dual-band WiFi connectivity, and the ability to receive commands from smartphones or tablets through the Samsung SMART CAMERA app on iOS and Android. But what makes the NX300 so special is its ability to shoot 3D photos and videos through Samsung’s 45mm F1.8 2D/3D lens.

We had a short time with the camera last week and shot a special video on how the NFC works between the camera and a smartphone.

There’s also an app you can download from the Google Play Store to remotely control the camera, use it as a remote viewfinder and even automatically transfer photos into the other device while the camera is taking the shots.

The camera and kit lens retails for Php36,990 in stores.
